Bluebirds And Barn Swallows

On my last day in the dreary north we ventured into the woods, trekking through the cold, and enjoying the almost bare trails even with the brisk air and light rain. Eventually, we discovered a warm little cabin with wonderful objects and poignant taxidermy. But the best find by far was a one dollar book sale!  They  had a wonderful collection of nature oriented books, including puppy training and bird watching. And because there is no way I am getting a puppy anytime soon (and yes, I'm sad about that), I have now become a bird watching aficionado!

I love adventuring through the woods. I see that you are from philly! I'm from NJ, and I miss going to all my concerts at the Troc, theater of living arts, first Unitarian.

megan: Thank you! This is the welcome center in Peace Valley, Pennsylvania. Its a small state park that has many wonderful trails and lakes. Its the kind of place that is only open when little old lady volunteers will sit there for a few hours :)

Starcake: I love them too. from their worn out covers, to the old book smell. love it :)

Kate: it was perfect! Especially to book sale.

Jada: I used to live in Philadelphia. My boyfriend still does and I'm planning on moving back in the spring. Oh and the First Unitarian is my favorite concert venue! Every show I see there ends up being so intimate and special. :)

Magda: Oh cool! I would love to see it.

Marguerite: Thank you so much! I loved the puppy book too. I wish I had a pup as cute as yours!

Kimberly: Thank you, you're making me blush. I'm currently having a love affair with my hat, its just so much fun!

Krystal: isn't the pup on the front cover the cutest! On the back there's another picture of the same puppy and a quote that read "Say Boss, are you sure you know all about taking care of me?" adorable! :)

Barbara: Thank you so much dear!

Min: Oh wow, thank you! I really appreciate you thinking of me. I'll be sure to try and answer them sometime this weekend. :)

Soph: Yes, love love love cheap book sales!

Shallow Mallow: Thank you! I also had a similar feeling for your blog! I hope you have a good day at work dear! :)

Brunatreme: Thank you so much! I used my digital (a canon 30d) and I color corrected these images with curves in photoshop. so its really nothings special.

Dear, Erica.
The nostalgic colours and the composition of these photos appeal to me like no other. Are these film?
