This Is Me

Hi! This is me. A 23 year old dreamer living in winter sunshine.  I'm currently back home in Mississippi for a year between schooling and I'm ambidextrous (I can write with both hands)! I also have the weirdest taste in movies, TV, and literature. For instance, My favorite "guilty pleasure" TV shows are Dog The Bounty Hunter, Ghost Hunters, and CSI:Miami. Strange right?!
Who are you? I'd love to know more about you all and anything interesting about yourself. :) Oh and let me know if you have any questions for me!

Hello!!
I'm Barbara, i'm 24 and i live in madrid, spain.
i studied advertising and public relations and i'd love to work in an advertising agency, but things right now are not that easy so instead i'm studying and mba to hopefully find a good job since i don't consider myself too creative/talented.
i follow way too many blogs, i like film photography and going to the movies.
I've got a french bulldog i'm in love with and my favourite film is Amelié.
I listen to old french music all the time and people say i dress like a granny!
nice to meet you :)

Hi!
I'm Róslín from Höfn, Iceland, Europe and I'm 17 years old (18 after few months).
I'm working in a supermarket with the school, we are nearly 2000 who live in this little harbor-town. Höfn clearly means harbor.
I have red hair, I write with my left hand and if I'm in football I only can kick with my left food. I'm dyslexic.
I'm that only girl in town who wants to be different, because of that people call me weird... and I love it :)

My favorite color is green, I listen too all kinds of music and I love Emilíana Torrini, Lay Low, Sigur Rós, Björk and Janis Joplin.
My favorite tv-show is Bones!

When I get older I want to be an actress, I looove to act on stage!!

Aaaand I'm trying hard to type right. I'm not very good in English..

Firstly, thank you for your nice comment! (:

Secondly, my question:
>Have you ever studied photography or any kind of art, design? If no what have you studied or what are you going to study/do?

Me.
The artistic spirit in 17-years-old body of polish girl (so sorry, for my English, I know I make a lot of mistakes). She's interesting in many things: art, desing, fashion, traveling (mostly this). The girl's in biology-chemistry class and want to treating little elephants in Kenya or Tanzania.
More you can read in 'about me' in my blog.

I adore these pictures, especially the first two. The pictures are so dynamic. Oh, and I love your outfit! And your awesome, bizarre TV show preferences.

I'm nearly twenty. My head is in the clouds and my feet are on the ground and that's okay, most of the time. I don't know what I want for my life, but I know that I want to live passionately.

Oooh I'm so jealous that you're ambidextrous! Did you teach yourself or was it a 'talent' you were born with? I always wanted to be able to write with my left hand as well, but the only thing I know how to do is mirror-writing. Leonardo da Vinci inspired me to practice it and now I write equally fast in my normal handwriting as I do when I mirror the letters. So I guess that's a random fact about me! :) Gorgeous pictures, especially the first two remind me a bit of Nirrimi's work.

Barbara: Hello Barbara! ;) I think you are very creative and I know that you'll be amazing working in advertising. Needless to say, I understand why you're getting your MBA. I'm applying to several graduate schools right now and I'm a nervous wreck. I'll probably ask you a few questions later about how your MBA is going. Although, I'm going for Art History/Conservation its good to hear the experience of others. I also follow way too many blogs, love film photography, and going to the movies (my favorite movie is the french film Breathless). My dog is a German Shepard/Border Collie and he's smarter than I am.;)
Oh and I think granny's are some of the best dressed people out there so consider it a complement- as I'm sure you do! :D

Roslin: first, your english seems very good so no worries! secondly, its wonderful that you're happy being yourself. Hold on to that! I hope to see you on the stage somewhere in the future and I must say that I am a little jealous that you're from Iceland. I've never been but it looks beautiful and a little cold ;)

Jeanne: You're very welcome!! and I have studied photography before but I'll post on that a little later ;)
Oh and you seem very creative and I can understand completely why you'd want to work in Africa! How amazing would that be?! I'll be sure to check out more of your blog. :)

Genevieve: Thank you so much for your kind words. I just wanted to take a few images because it was so nice out. And I'm glad someone thinks my love for strange tv is so interesting. haha I mostly get funny looks from my friends when I tune in for one of my shows. Oh and I love your description about yourself, its very honest. Don't worry about what you'll do in life. Its enough that you're passionate about living passionately! That all the drive you'll ever need!

Heleen: I'm jealous that you can do mirror-writing! I've always been fascinated with da Vinci and his way of writing so I'm very impressed that you can do that. As for me I was born ambidextrous and its always kind of confused me. For instance, I never knew which foot to use when I danced ballet or did gym. haha
Thank you for your complement. Although, I am not a fashion photographer Nirrimi is very gifted and always an inspiration. :)

Erica I'll be more than glad to help u with anything related to studies or anything else :)

i think u had an amazing idea, you know, sometimes we read other's blogs and i think it's so nice to know a little bit more about them, that random facts that say so much about us !!
it may sound stupid but i believe that some people out there would be with no doubt a friend of mine if we lived closer. and it's funny because even though you don't know them in real life you can tell for what you read/see.
hope u had a lovely weekend!

Hi. I'm 20, and live in melbourne, australia. I don't like it too much here because the weather is crazzyy. I'm going through a stage in my life where i hate most things, although the things i like, i love very much.

Question for you, what do you want to do as a career when you get older? And if you could pick anything in the world to do what would it be?

Wonderful post, what a lovely idea!
Well, I'm Marguerite and I hope to one day make a good documentary film, or be a good filmmaker I guess. Currently I have big trouble falling asleep, so I spend most of my nights listing to old radio shows form the 40s and 50s -that's quite strange too...don't you think? I would really like to know if you have a favorite camera? I personally can get very sentimental when it comes to my cameras.
