Bath On The Morning of March First

The first roll of film I've shot in months. It felt strange to have film in a camera again- and I had forgotten how much I loved peering through the viewfinder of a medium format camera. I'm not completely satisfied with these first images but the feeling of contentment after taking a photo is a welcoming emotion to have again.

I know what you mean. The feeling you get whilst taking pictures and just hearing the shutter speed going off is amazing. And looking through a viewfinder? I don't think there's anything better. I always like to look through the viewfinders in my cameras, I do it a lot, even if I don't have film in them or when I don't intend to take a picture. I often dream that my eyesight was a viewfinder. As stupid as it might sound.

Lovely pictures though! The mood in them is great, very melancholic, just how I like it.

With a film camera you take photographs....with a digital one, images. So i guess you urged the need of photography...such a feeling!

I love the texture of these photos! I wonder if they'd be the same in colour- what kind of camera did you use? x
