My Mother,

"I've seen the bright lights of Memphis, and the Commodore Hotel, and underneath a street lamp, i met a southern belle. Oh she took me to the river, where she cast her spell, and in that southern moonlight, she sang this song so well." -Dixie Chicken, Little Feat

she would sing this to me when I was little.

Michelle ma belle: thank you! your comments are so sweet. I hope it warms up for you soon, spring is on its way! I'm sure its hard for you to watch the protests in egypt. Lets hope you get to visit again soon, without this conflict!

Nicole: Thank you, I'm told she was a bit rebelous when she was younger. And your dad sounds cool too!

Barbara: I think around sixteen or seventeen. She told me she used to sew her own dresses and roll her hair with soda cans! lol

Krystal: thank you and yes, it is a special memory of mine! :)
